At Zakthrexox, we want you to be satisfied with your purchases. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returning or exchanging products purchased from our store. We are committed to providing fair and transparent return procedures while maintaining the quality and integrity of our products.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

Products must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date. Returns requested after this period may not be accepted unless there are exceptional circumstances or the product is defective.

Items must be in their original condition, unused, and in the original packaging with all tags, labels, and protective materials intact. Products that have been opened, used, or altered in any way may not be eligible for return unless they are defective or damaged upon receipt.

You must provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or order confirmation. Without proof of purchase, we may not be able to process your return or may only offer store credit at the current selling price.

Certain products are not eligible for return due to hygiene, safety, or quality reasons. These include but are not limited to opened paint containers, cut fabrics, custom-ordered items, clearance or sale items marked as final sale, and products that have been personalized or customized to your specifications.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following categories of products cannot be returned or exchanged:

Opened or partially used consumable materials including paints, inks, adhesives, and similar products. Once these items are opened, they cannot be resold for health and safety reasons.

Cut materials such as fabric, ribbon, or paper that has been cut to your specifications. These items are considered custom and cannot be returned.

Clearance items, discontinued products, or items marked as final sale. These products are sold at reduced prices with the understanding that they cannot be returned.

Custom or special order items that were specifically ordered for you. These items are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Gift cards, vouchers, or promotional items. These are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Digital products, downloadable content, or online tutorials. Once accessed or downloaded, these items cannot be returned.

Items that show signs of use, wear, or damage caused by the customer. We reserve the right to refuse returns on items that have been used or damaged after purchase.

4. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or not as described, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.

For defective or damaged items, please notify us within 7 days of receiving the product. Provide photographs of the defect or damage along with your order information. This helps us process your claim quickly and improve our quality control procedures.

We will assess each claim on a case-by-case basis. If the product is confirmed to be defective or damaged, we will offer a replacement, exchange, or full refund, including any shipping costs you incurred. In some cases, we may ask you to return the defective item to us for inspection.

If a product develops a defect within a reasonable time after purchase due to a manufacturing fault, we will honor the manufacturer's warranty if applicable. Please contact us with details of the defect, and we will guide you through the warranty claim process.

5. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

Contact us by phone, email, or in person at our store to request a return authorization. Provide your order number, purchase date, and reason for return. Our team will review your request and provide you with return instructions if your item is eligible.

If approved, you will receive a return authorization number and instructions on how to return the item. Please include this authorization number with your return package.

Package the item securely in its original packaging if possible. Include all accessories, manuals, and components that came with the product. Ensure the package is properly sealed to prevent damage during transit.

Return the item to our store in person or ship it to the address provided in your return authorization. If returning by mail, we recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or exchange within 7 to 10 business days. You will be notified by email when your return has been processed.

6. Refund Methods

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. If you paid by credit card, the refund will be credited to the same card. If you paid by cash or debit card, you may receive a cash refund or store credit at our discretion.

Please note that it may take additional time for your financial institution to process and post the refund to your account. We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank or credit card company.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. If you received free shipping on your original order, the actual shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.

If you choose store credit instead of a refund, you will receive the full purchase amount as credit that can be used for future purchases. Store credit does not expire and can be used at any time.

7. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different product, size, or color, please contact us to arrange an exchange. Exchanges are subject to product availability and must meet the same eligibility requirements as returns.

If the replacement item is more expensive than the original item, you will need to pay the difference. If the replacement item is less expensive, we will refund the difference or provide store credit.

For exchanges, you may return the original item to our store and select a replacement immediately, subject to availability. Alternatively, you can ship the item back to us, and we will send the replacement once we receive and inspect the returned item.

8. In-Store Returns

Returns and exchanges can be processed more quickly when done in person at our Richmond store location. Please bring the item in its original condition along with your proof of purchase.

Our staff will inspect the item and process your return or exchange immediately if it meets our return policy requirements. In-store returns typically result in faster refunds or immediate exchanges.

Store hours for returns are the same as our regular business hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

9. Shipping Returns

If you are unable to return an item in person, you may ship it back to us at the address provided in your return authorization. Please follow these guidelines for shipping returns:

Use adequate packaging to protect the item during transit. We are not responsible for items damaged during return shipping due to inadequate packaging.

Include your return authorization number, contact information, and reason for return inside the package. This helps us process your return quickly and accurately.

Use a trackable shipping method and retain your shipping receipt. We are not responsible for items lost in transit, and we cannot process refunds for items we do not receive.

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error, a defective product, or we explicitly agree to cover shipping costs. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items.

10. Restocking Fees

In most cases, we do not charge restocking fees for returns that meet our policy requirements. However, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15 percent for certain items, including large or bulky items, special orders, or items that require significant processing to return to inventory.

If a restocking fee applies to your return, you will be notified before the return is processed, and you will have the option to proceed with the return or keep the item. Restocking fees will be deducted from your refund amount.

No restocking fees will be charged for defective items, damaged items, or returns due to our error.

11. Refused or Undeliverable Returns

If you refuse delivery of an item or if an item is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address or failure to collect, we will process the return according to this policy. However, you will be responsible for all shipping costs, and these costs will be deducted from your refund.

Please ensure that your shipping address is correct and that someone is available to receive the delivery. We are not responsible for items that are not delivered due to incorrect address information provided by you.

12. Warranty Claims

Many of the products we sell are covered by manufacturer warranties. If a product you purchased is defective due to a manufacturing fault, you may be entitled to a warranty claim directly with the manufacturer.

Please contact us with details of the issue, and we will provide you with warranty information and assist you in filing a claim if applicable. Warranty terms and conditions vary by manufacturer and product.

Our return policy does not affect your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for products that are faulty or do not match their description, regardless of our return policy timeframes.

13. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this Return Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection legislation. If there is any inconsistency between this policy and the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law will prevail.
